The 40 minute wire transfer

This is great. So, I needed to deposit $24,000 into my forex account today. I slept in late, and so I didn’t make it to wellsfargo until about 1:50. Wires are due by 2pm to make it out the same day. I was hoping to make the cutoff, but wasn’t too optimistic because most times there is a wait at my bank.

So, I tried a different branch that was closer to my house.

Big mistake. Or maybe not

No line, and I walk right up to the teller (who is about my age, and cute). It’s about 1:52 at this point. She starts working up some of the paperwork, and I have to explain allot to her about where the wire needs to go (even though I had a computer printout with all the information she needs). 10 minutes go by….

20 minutes….

She has to ask the manager something. He is in an interview. She is really hot, so I don’t mind much : ).

30 minutes. It’s almost 2:30 now. Still standing. Almost no traffic at the branch (I wonder why!).

So, finally, she tells me I am all done. (this is after printing out checks that I had written recently to verify my signiture). As I walk out I hear her say to the next customer, “please hold on a minute, I’m working on a wire transfer”.

God, I hope she gets it figured out before monday.
