Zecco Forex Review

I’ve had an account at Zecco for my stock trading for some time now, and recently they launched a new Forex company, Zecco Forex, Inc. which got me really excited.

I think more and more mainstream brokerages are going to be offering forex trading in the future. Zecco seems to be leading the pack here.

Similar to most Forex brokers, Zecco offers a 50K demo account to play around with. So lets take a look…

Getting your demo account setup

To setup your demo, you need to input your first and last name, country, phone number and email address. Once you’ve done that, your userID and password are emailed to you so you can login to the trading platform.

On the trading platform installation page, you accept the license agreement and download the trading client. If it looks familiar to you, that’s because it probably is. It’s the FOREXTrader platform. Zecco Forex teamed up with FOREX.com aka Gain Capital as an introducing broker to launch this new division. The download is just over 6 megs. If you’ve traded on FOREXTrader before, everything looks very familiar except the nice Zecco logo in the upper right hand side.

I’m actually a big fan of this platform. It’s pretty lightweight and you can easily organize your trading pairs as well as some advanced charts.

Would I open an account here?

So, would I open an account at Zecco? Yes. Actually, I’d prefer opening with them due to their customer support and brokerage client as well. Why have multiple accounts at different companies when I can keep my stock trading and forex at the same broker that I already like?
